Game is amazing, and this video highlights some of the best it has to offer. I really hope, though, that the devs place weapon type caps for squads, as there are far too many automatics in the game at one time right now, and that's one of the only things that's taking away from the period-appropriate immersion. There needs to be more rifles, fewer automatics in play. Other than that, HLL is my go-to at the moment. It's getting better and better all the time.

Seems like the BAR and Thompson’s ROF is way low. Add the toggle for fast/slow fire for BAR and fix Thompson and it’ll be lit! BAR 500-650rpm Thompson 600-700rpm.

@@aki7slush Obviously you haven't experienced it yet. I don't stream, I make videos. When I say stream sniping I mean sniping Garrys, OPs, nodes, tanks, trucks etc. That's what they snipe. Everytime you look at your map they'll exploit it. And most servers have stream delay times listed in their rules. Most of them require 1 min at the minimum, and if you're streaming that prevents you from interacting with your audience smoothly. Which is why I said it can be difficult to stream the game. I'm not sure what Spence was talking about covering your map as I've never seen that but it's probably a thing. Those are the issues, whether you see it or not it's happening. I haven't encountered it in a while and it's important to know I posted this 1 year ago and at that time it was a major issue. Maybe not so much now but it was when I posted that comment.

Hell Let Loose, Post Scriptum and recently Enlisted. We live in a great era guys. WW2 nerds have finally gotten themselves in designing games and graphic engines are always updating, sounds being improved and all the research around the Great Wars is exploited perfectly. Not to mention the experience gathered from previous games like CoD and Bf. Enjoy it while it lasts!

They nailed the sound in this game, and the lightning, and the weapons, and movements, oh and textures, oh and the local voice communications, oh and the tactical side of the game. So that solo playing won't get you anywhere. My favorite game for PC by far probably ever. It's not too casual and maps aren't too big and not too small. It's a great great game. And with all updates it stays fun and keeps getting better. ❤️

this game sucks solo this game forces you to play by the rules otherwise the experience sucks..... you either buckle down and take orders or you can die tbh one of my favorites HLL alonside BF 1942, early splinter cells games and the metal gear series(for the story) most games these days try to be for everyone but in the end please no one...... the best games are those that have dedicated communities... men of war ,forgttonhope mod, garrys mod, MW,MW2,WAW all the metal gear series, the early need for speed games , red orchestra, the total war series, the zombies easter egg has probably one of the beststoryline ..... and a awesome soundtrack (if ya like metal) ,HLL< sims city, the sims (most of em) , elder scrolls morrowind ( still the most difficult game to date ) , mario cart, Halo the thing is make the game as intended and let the fans carry it and thats why some games have survived others not you cant be for everyone period rember BF3 with the aids suppression.... at least it was effective , mount and blade ( loved it coz intel graphics could run it) both battle royale and mid life crisis has fucked it for those who were at their friends house just to play the ps2, n64 and or gameboy colour (that back light was revolutionary) tryna play the original Gameboy in the dark...... good luck with that unless you by a window with a lamppost within a few m(notice i dont use imperial so convert meters to inches/ ft ) had to wait till friday to use my brother ps2/ patato PC and tbh looking back on it good time runescape....WOW (if ya had enough free time) d&d, risk ? the good days

side note defo up there and deserves a place in history and tbh HLL is something else we wont see a game like it or better than in at least a decade and for that reason its likely that it will last a long time just like arma, civilization, red orchestra and men of war all of those have a dedicated player base and HLL is likely to join the classics ..... its really was for the old schoolers and you can tell it was for those who used to play with stick guns and imagination (and also strat games HLL defo has the resource meta ya see in company of hero's,civilsation ect) HLL is at least 20% roleplay( the roger makes a differance and just following orders in general makes it more enjoyable even if you gotta hold alll the flack) 60% tactics the rest is down to logistics arty command armor and the avg soldier and how good you are a shot and your adrenal glands..... it was intended to be good but not for everyone and tbh thats a good thing a good game is only good because it pleases a fraction of the market remember the old MW lobbies classic you'll get banned for that roast these days... the banter and the roleplay is half the fun.... a good story hasn't really been seen since 2010 ... nothing like getting roasted after school because you lacking a game will only be as good as those who play it and or the story that was written or by some miracle both tbh the 90s and up to about 2015 was the golden age for games ( battle royale singlehandedly ruined it alongside COD getting abit comfy) still alot of indie studios about these days so cant complain oh and i forget medal of honor remeber that ......... tbh the best games ethier go 100% on the story or 100% in the immersion or for the 90s just plain fun but beyond this you asking too much remeberr when games worked on release a broken game back in the 2000s was unacceptable ... a product should work as intended at the point of purchase... literally look at any other industry if it don't work when brought we got a problem usually send it back lord knows how you get away with a game that barley works..... until ethier you pay for dlc and or wait for it to become part of the og game (as the complete edition or whatever name) still at least the sims still works

@@garycollumbell1396 My post was from 10 months ago, things have changed with HLL since then. I remember Medal of Honor Allied Assault, America's Army 2 and CoD2 to be my all time favorites. HLL was a lot of fun but haven't played it anymore. Probably played it to much I guess. It's definitely a great game. Even with the DLC's now (not a fan of that, but I get it). Now I have been playing FS22, totally different from games I normally played (only FPS really). Got 3000h if not more on CSGO, Global Elite ranked, played a lot of Squad too, which was a hell lot of fun. And now FS22 which is seriously a good game. Not well optimized especially for multiplayer but it's not that critical to have avg 40-50 fps in such game. Now I am getting a little bored with FS22. Will see what comes next. Desperados 3 maybe for a change.

Get the PC, especially if you can use it for more than just gaming. Best thing is you dont have to pay for a subscription to something like XBox or Playstation. You just download clients like Steam or whatever has the game you want, pay for the game, download it and play it once it installs. As long as you have access to your steam account you can always redownload the game(s) on a different PC. I was wanting to get a PS5 but I dont anymore, I needed a laptop but ended up getting a gaming one even though I wasnt planning on gaming on it. I started playing Squad and decided gaming on a computer is much better than a system. Personal opinion. Sorry I rambled on, I'm pretty high.

@@Donatello_h Eh... it hasn't been a problem for me. I find that you and the enemy would have spotted each other already if he's close enough for 3 seconds or less to matter. And I'd say it's no more immersion breaking than say, a loading screen or a main menu screen. I'm confident the devs will slowly get rid of the problem. Aside from a few problems I have with the node system, I've been having loads of fun with this update.

Epic, I am close to buying a PC to play this, not brand new, but confident will run well. A couple of questions. Practice. For hitting targets further out, I recommend lowering your ADS sensitivity. Helped me sooo much.

I have a question, one of my pet peeves about the new Battlefield games is the lack of Hardcore Mode. I have unload an entire mag and hope I kill the opponent after 15 hits. How's the weapon damage on this game?

Very good weapon damage. Headshots are automatic kill and body shots take a few bullets from what I've seen. Plus if you shoot someone and they don't doe then they will slowly bleed out if they don't heal.

No worries! The community ist super supportive. You‘ll (in the current state) have a harder time to team up with a friend, as there is no invite system, than finding strangers who help you and coordinate you. Its super fun, just use your mic and you have a blast!

Lots of solo players in the game m8, I'm 1 of them. When joining a match you pick a squad to join, you'll find any squad that are buddies with each other are usually locked to outsiders joining. There's plenty of unlocked squads to join with other randoms, some communicate & work as a team, some don't. You can quit teams & join others throughout the game & find 1 that you like... It's well worth purchasing just now, you'll want it 1 day & if you wait until it comes out of early access, you'll kick yourself for waiting until it was full price. Even if you don't play it much just now it's 1 for the future, there's still much more the devs plan to add, more factions, weps, maps etc. And the devs alone are worth the investment, super informative, quick to fix out any issues regardless of how minor they seem & listen to the community. The positive feed back I kept hearing about the devs while watching HLL uploads for months on here probs played a 50% part in me deciding to buy the game.

Squad is years ahead of HLL in development. HLL is Black Matter Studios debut title. They are both amazingly fun, Ive owned squad since day1 on steam and HLL kickstarter.
