Honestly one of my best pulls was early on when I got Articuno EX and Mewtwo EX almost back to back at the start of the game. I've gotten a lot of good since then, but getting Mewtwo right away was really nice, and Articuno is my favorite of the legendary birds. Never really played the TCG itself outside of an old PC game that existed years ago, but I've gotten into it a bit here. I do hope that future pack sets come soon and add some more variety though because the PvP side of things feels pretty repetitive when there's only about three or four decks you face on average. I'm also not the biggest fan of how RNG heavy it is compared to other TCGs, particularly when stuff like Misty can create a turn one nuke if you get lucky. Still, been enjoying it quite a bit, and if nothing else opening the packs is a lot of fun.

the first week the app came out I got the Gold Mewtwo card and yesterday I finally pulled my first immersive card which is Mewtwo as well. I haven't picked up any real life cards for awhile now, moneys going to the bills sadly. But congrats on your pulls!

I wonder if that's why they came out with this app. Maybe it's a test to see which one sells more - digital or physical cards. I can definitely see the Pokemon Company making a move towards all digital cards, which deeply saddens me. I probably will end collecting at that point. At least the newer sets.

I’ve been playing TCGO/LIVE for years now. Every time a new booster comes out, I just buy 400 redeem codes it only costs me $0.20 each. Plus, you can easily craft any cards you don’t have. It’s cheaper, matches are easy to find (especially for someone like me who doesn’t go out often), and it follows the same rules as the normal Pokémon TCG.

Fun video! I got out of collecting cards many years ago, but I've been having lots of fun with pokemon tcg pocket! Even got some of my friends playing and we've been doing some battles and stuff, but I am looking forward to trading. I've managed to get all 3 main immersive cards and even got a god pack once, without spending a dime! And since you mentioned it, I loved your series/compilation about the entire anime series, it was great! Would love to see you do something similar for all the games someday, though I know that would be a pretty big project.

Definitely get the orange Tatsugiri. Unlike the pink and yellow ones, it has that extra drizzle pattern on its back that will stand out on a tattoo.

pocket is fun and gives you a rush opening but it really sucks when you don’t pay and get two stacks of nothing a day. with real cards, at least you have something to hold and look at if you don’t hit

I don't know if I'm just lucky, but I've pulled almost all the EX and GX cards since downloading TCG on release date. I got both the Pikachu and Mewtwo EX last week, and in my first week I pulled the gold crown Charizard EX. My personal superstition is if there is one card flipped backwards on the choice wheel, pick it and open it backwards as is. That was my first Char EX pull. I'd love them to have an update where you can use the phones gyroscope to turn the cards around, Crossy Road has that feature and I love it.

Digital card opening just doesn't do it for me. I had that with the Gameboy Pokemon TCG game, and it just isn't the same experience as opening a physical pack.
