Litre retail price hai toh atleast 20% commission etc kaatke bhi 250 approx rs. Aye seller ko toh 50 rs. Kam se kam profit hoga. Zyada bhi ho sakta but I am talking minimum possible profit that means 200 rs. Litre pada oil my assumption. 1kg coconut mein 50% oil content hota hai toh 2kg coconut will yield 1kg oil but oil is measured in litres so 1 litre is 900 litres only. So additional profit to seller. And coconut ki khal Jo oil nikalne ke baad bachti hai wo bhi sale out hoti hai animals ki feed banti hai ya dusre cosmetic products mein use etc. It's profitable. Coconut price us hisab se 90 rs. Kg pada local. Kam zyada ho sakta hai. Kerala pondicherry andhra mein wholesale rates cheap hain. It's similar to sugarcane business where big companies buy sugarcane on agreement in bulk from poor farmers at very cheap price & sugar is made & sold out at profit alongwith other byproducts like ethyl alcohol etc

Like the hard work and understand your point of not wearing gloves but its a very unhygienic production. Our hands estimated to have around 1,500 bacteria living on each square centimetre of skin on our hands. Even more underneath the fingernails and between the fingers. Some bacteria are good for us, some of the external germs we can pick up can potentially cause health concerns and infections so highly recommend to wear gloves and wash coconut. Keep it up

Don't exaggerate the smallest concern! Humans and all animals are made to live with small quantity of bacteria and germs, if such cautious then body won't be trained (auto immune) to bigger attacks. Even in vaccine some bacteria are sent in body to train the immune response system. Reply is just exaggerating the concern which should be the negligible in this case. BTW have you visited food industries arround the world, less then 0.1% would follow all these, so won't you eat? Haven't our generations eating without even knowing about germs and bacterias? I must say this is one of cleanest oil processing micro setup in India.
