@@mehere337 Scott I just had to listen to Gypsy Woman. Brought back so many memories, thank you 👍 Autotune has completely changed the musical landscape for me. I remember when each decade had a unique 'sound' that somehow encapsulated it. Crystal Waters had that fantastic 90s sound, one of my favourite eras. Now, sadly it seems autotune has hijacked the decades to come and everything just sounds the same. Thank goodness for streaming and our music collections!

I'm sure many of them do. I always did because music and dance were my first two passions since age 3, combine them with heart felt movements . . . Heaven on earth. I was the dancer in college, even though I was preprofessional at hip-hop since I was 13, that my teachers never recognized my talent (or I just didn't display it as much in front of mirrors) until they saw me perform. I was so use to dancing in my windowless basement, alone, that mirrors messed with my psyche. I got recruited by talent agencies and well known dance instructors out of NYC. (I just took a less strict, more money-making, and fun path.) I can attest it can be difficult to learn a routine from a big city dancer and perform it on their calibur if you only have one hour to do it. But repetitively teaching your brain to learn, you are constantly thinking "what comes next" so you don't mess up never mind adding your own facial expressions and additives. To show up regularly and comprehend faster makes it that much easier also if the movements flow well with your body or how you were taught, your connection with the song. A lot of factors. They're a fantastic group of performers with a killer choreographer. Wish I could take this class.

As a choreographer, you have to be so proud. Of yourself and your dancers. Good choreographers (day) dream to songs that speak to them from the time they experience dance. It's in their bodies to flow and make visual magic to the songs that move them or compelled to move to every song and make it work. For the longest times it was only the best to me or emotion, then I learned to actually incorporate the words. Love the magic you bring to the dancing community with your adoring movers. 🔥❤️
