When brother was killed I had just got my income tax but the amount of people who gave my family donations in funds and food made it a little less stressful. I was grateful. I had never seen my father so sad. Not even when my mom passed away.

Got a physical disability that continues to deteriorate. Unbelievable how people see me having difficulty and rush to help. From shop keepers who will take my order then bring it out to the curb, to folks helping me across a busy street, or helping me to load my walker into the back of my car! Younger people, older people, sometimes even people who have their own disabilities. And I like to do the same when it is something that is possible for me.

About 10 years ago taking my two granddaughters to elementary school I spotted $5 bill laying in the rain soaked drive at their school. I picked up the money and told my girls, we must take this $5 an turn it into the office because another child must had dropped it. Girls watched as I told the staff where we found it and how I believed another child lost it. About 15 minutes after I left, a 4th grade little girl come into the office crying because she had lost her field trip money an without it she couldn't go with her class on their field trip that day. But the staff handed her the money an said, an old honest man found it laying on the street an he knew it was lost by a child so he brung it here because he knew it was important to someone. Later that afternoon when I went to pick my girls up the office staff waited for me to get there as I did at same time every day and they told me how that girl was so thankful for me turning it into the office that morning. I was told by many people, why didn't you just keep the money you are stupid to return it. I replied back to them with, really that's the difference between honest people and worthless deadbeats who steal from children. I didn't hear anymore from them again. But my grand babies know what is right from wrong because it could have been one of them to have lost their money. Share love and kindness.

I used to work at Bolingbrook hospital from 2007 to 2012 on 2010 I found a wallet a patient that was in er from Friday to Saturday and I found found it on Sunday and the man came on Monday he had over $550 the security told me the person wanted to thank me in person and reward me with a $50 but we can't take it I was a transporter.
