@@Neverian Is there a mod that improves the total pawn UI? Compared to a game like Stellaris & its ships + planets,Rimworld just puts all the total/selected colonists at the top of the screen.It's servicable for the 25-max that the developer invisioned when coding,but it's useless for the multiple 50-pawn settlements you could construct when expanding your tribe/faction's borders.

@@Neverian A few questions about combat. 1.Why is VC-E so incompatible?If people are constantly making mods,why hasn't anyone made it compatible yet?Or has that already happened. 2.What was that one mod (I think I saw it on Noobert's channel) that adds new gun firms/manufacturers with their own colour-coded anime girl mascot?How come it's not more popular?

1. You mean Combat Extended? Combat Extended changes core mechanics of the game, that's kinda the reason some mods don't work with it. Mods that add weapons, apparel, and like new entities (pawns, vehicles, creatures etc) are the ones which usually don't work. But the guys at CE and other modders work hard to make most mod work with CE. 2. I am not sure what mod this is about as I do not watch Noobert. Hm, I think some of the Rimsenal series mods have anime girls in the artwork

It's Shella Backgrounds. It adds a few more artworks for a few other mods besides the DLCs.

Very nice, don't forget about performance fish. Is the multiplayer mod good yet? The only one I disagreed with was Rimfeller over Deepchem. Just because they're basically the same but Rimfeller looks ridiculous lol

Oh yeah, I haven't used Performance Fish for a long time. As for the multiplayer mod, I am not sure. As I don't have friends who play RimWorld.

Not a bad list, definitly a few on here I'm gonna start using. Biomes! Caverns is one I've been using a lot lately, and I'm honestly disappointment by how much you undersold it. Not only does it add several new biomes that you didn't showcase at all despite following it up with 2 more biome mods that you thuroughly listed out, it adds a ton of new animals to populate them, new darkness-loving crops to grow for food; resources; and drugs; retextures certain DLC objects to fit better like Anima and Garulian trees, custom soundtracks for the cavern biomes, and even adds new cavern-exclusive events to replace ones that only work on the surface. It is far, far more fleshed out than simply being a glorified mountain base and I adore it. I should also add that Dinosauria has been retired to maintenance-mode and replaced with the mod Biomes! Prehistoric, which adds far more species and other features.

I recently discovered the Biomes! mods and didn't have the chance to play a lot of with them. But damn, the mods are so cool and for some reason I never see them in any playthoughs on KZbin. And yeah, I agree with you. I should have talked a bit more about it. When editing I was like 'damn this is turning into a biomes showcase video...'

@@Neverian Yeah, same here. I only discovered Biomes! Caverns less than a week ago because Deep Rim mentions having compatability with it, and I've been obsessed with it ever sense. My current Run is a hospitality-focused run in the Fungal Forest biome with the Bogleg xenotype added by Det's Xenotypes series.
