I love this channel !!! Your content is useful and practical. Thank you for being so thoughtful with the content you produce. I've nicknamed this channel "The Mind-Readers" because whenever I am wondering about the best way to say a particular phrase, how to put the sentence together with the correct grammar ... it's as if you anticipate it, and I will find what I want, somewhere within each new video! In fact, I also find phrases that I didn't even know I wanted! Soooo handy! :D I truly appreciate your Phrase Videos :)))

Why the 2 versions of "you?" Bac is pronounced " V -ah -s " and you use it when addressing someone who is of a higher status than you or is older than you. It's also a respectful way to address a stranger, no matter what their age or social status. "Teeb'ya" is another form of 'you', this time for informal occasions, to use with friends, family, people you know and also for children. It's a type of friendlier, less formal version of "you." Be wary however, as apparently it is considered rude behaviour in Russia to speak to someone in an informal way if the circumstances are not favourable for speaking in an informal manner. Is this the information you wanted to know? Cheers :)

If you go to the settings "cog" on the display, you can click on it and adjust the speed of the speech to the pace you prefer. You can slow it down to half speed or even slower. 75% of normal speed is probably the best to hear the words without too much distortion. Have a great day ! :)
