I had pcos since 4 years, and for years i have not had proper periods. And in last 2 or so years i totally stopped having natural periods, i only got them if i was on ocps. That too was so less (to the point that i stopped buying pads all together), i had blotting and cramps. I stopped my ocps cause i was sick of being dependent on them. And i just randomly started using namhya. And within 3 weeks of using it, i got my first natural periods, i literally cried. And it was a proper one, had to go out urgently and buy pads. So i am guessing you will have to take this tea for a long time. Experiment with tapering it out after a year or so. Idk if it could reverse your pcod, but i for sure have stopped all the meds and even ocps, but get pretty normal periods. So I don't think i am gonna stop using the tea any time soon

My personal poin of view : Positive Point:- Asoka chaal (Ashoka bark) has been traditionally used in Ayurvedic medicine for women's health, particularly in managing menstrual disorders and pain. Ashoka (Saraca asoca) is believed to have properties that can help in alleviating menstrual pain, reducing heavy bleeding, and balancing hormones. Negative Point :- While Ashoka bark may provide some relief for menstrual discomfort, scientific evidence supporting its effectiveness is limited. Most of the knowledge comes from traditional practices rather than rigorous clinical studies. It might work for some women, but it is not a guaranteed remedy for all.

None address the root cause and try to sell the solution in terms of pharma medicine or ayurveda.....Eat less, eat right, eat the right fats, sunlight, sleep, and exercise...fix these, and most of the hormonal imbalance gets fixed.
