I played this last night (for the first time) at Choctaw in Grant Oklahoma. Put in $20. Placed 2 cent denom at 88 credits. First spin hit the "Yummy" bonus. Second spin I accidentally hit the next credits up button (I think it was 176) this hit the "Yummy" and "Spicey" pots. Won over $200.

I pick the largest pots, knowing it may or may not affect anything and I play 2 credits on a $20 investment... sometimes I end up investing more $$ before I see a pay back and sometimes not the biggest re cent win was $700 win on $40 investment

That's always a hard question. It really comes down to you and your level of risk. Is $1000 a lot to you? Will you be upset if you lose it all? What's your realistic walkaway? How long are you staying? All of these things and more, play a factor. Also depends on what you like to play. Personally, I wouldn't bet less than $5. That gives you 200 spins to try and make something happen. I wouldn't bet more than $10 either. I like the three reel VGT slots at Winstar. Check out the Nonsmoking area in Rome. Ainsworth 25 cent to a $1 might be a good option, too. Dragon link or lightning link at 10 cent $5 dollars spins, but on the 1 cent to 10 cent machines, happy and prosperous or panda magic. 9 line slots are a good option even at 25 cent denomination. Cleopatra at 10 cents too. Set limits both high and low.

Before I learned about perceived progression I put $500 (hit a $1000 drawing) into Mystery of the Lamp thinking that a bonus was bound to go off. I learned about perceived progression that night at the cost of 5 benjaminss.
