Hi, I saw that there are different themes where the icons have a completely different layout than in the official xmb. Surely it is possible to make a ps4 or ps5 theme and do you think it would be difficult?

Creating a CFW theme is a bit of a complicated process but there are some existing themes with quite varied layouts that change the look of the XMB. There are tutorials online and resources on GitHub if you are keen to try maybe check on the PSP Mod Discord as well for some advice

hey man ive installed CXMB and the PS5 CTF, I also Reseted the VSH but it doesnt show up in the themes menu any ideas?

Try putting the .ctf file in PSP/THEME folder, or try putting a THEME folder in your root directory. Also, what version of custom firmware are you on?

Hi Khalid, I am not sure of a way to get a cell phone to act as a PC storage for connection with external USB peripherals. You can download the files to your phone, but I don't know of a way to transfer the files to the PSP directly. I will update my reply if I come across anything. Thanks

Will this work for Videos/Music folders? Have a big micro sd card but I notice up to a certain point, stuff in those folders also stops appearing. It's on the card but not displaying... I'm on the same CFW btw.

You can already put music and videos in seperate folders, I usually divide my music albums up in seperate folders or go by artist first then albums within that folder 📁

Also double check it is in a compatible format? Some incompatible files will show as corrupted or not at all

But can I put psp & ps1 games in the same folder? say if i want to put ps1 racing games & psp racing games in single "Racing" folder, not possible right? will it be separate?

Probably not, seeing as they’re separated by file type in the root of the memory card I.e ISO and Eboot are stored separately but there may be a workaround I’m just not aware of anything that would work

Non iso games would go in PSP/GAME folder and follow the same idea CAT_PS1, etc. folders in there

So long as you have the appropriate plug-in it should work, but I only work with PRO C / C2 6.60/6.61 so I don’t know what you mean by lite

@@EverythingPSPOfficial there 2 cfw for psp the pro and the lite for 6.61, i used homebrew sorter sshort and simple however only moves 1 file at a time, wanted to put my emulators first then alphabetical order

@@DigitalVersionOfMe homebrew sorter is good as it’s compatible with categories, there is also LME and Ark 4 CFW among others, I believe Ark is the latest one but doesn’t have as much support yet

@@EverythingPSPOfficial hey sorry false alarm. I got it working. For whatever reason CXMB was causing the category list to not work. Had to disable that first, and then enable it after categorlist was working right. Weird
