This is a good guide,but depending on theme and name of the tower this can absolutely be a thing for example 4.Trap Spam. Tower of Confusion has lots of unmarked conveyors and Tower of Traps also has lots of traps.This video shows what not to do but I think its your choice on what you want to build.

the name doesnt matter, what matters is the gameplay. naming your tower only add a bit of creativity points but they dont mean anything: you can literally have a tower name like "good morning, lets basketball" and it might get in the game

also a builder, here are my opinions on each one 1. if used as portrayed, it isnt ideal, but shape variety isnt mandatory 2. same thing 3. this is true, indication is important, and invisible platforms are not ideal 4. yep. traps are bad when unindicated and a multitude of them is not good 5. this should go without saying, yeah don't do this 6. should be avoided, however this is not exclusive to final stretches, don't do this anywhere in the tower unless the spheres are being used well 7. yes, killbricks are fine if spaced out and used responsibly, but not as shown 8. yes, make your music pleasing to listen to 9. stay away from excessive neon usage unless its that sort of neon thats not super bright 10. very much so, pushbox sections are fine as long as they are not long and irritating 11. yes, try to keep your gameplay difficulty consistent 12. i guess if it's a spike from the rest of the tower, then don't do it, but if your tower has difficulty like that, it's fine. also, this one shows another bad thing absentmindedly, one stud ladders should be avoided due to their physics 13. yeah, make your tower easy to see. lighting is fine, as long as its not crazy 14. yeah, don't use those in general 15. don't use stupid signs, its just plain annoying

15.Stupid Signs. tower of Generation Failure has 2 random signs when you walk to the first jump.A few years ago, there was a sign at the win pad of ToGF.
