also a builder, here are my opinions on each one 1. if used as portrayed, it isnt ideal, but shape variety isnt mandatory 2. same thing 3. this is true, indication is important, and invisible platforms are not ideal 4. yep. traps are bad when unindicated and a multitude of them is not good 5. this should go without saying, yeah don't do this 6. should be avoided, however this is not exclusive to final stretches, don't do this anywhere in the tower unless the spheres are being used well 7. yes, killbricks are fine if spaced out and used responsibly, but not as shown 8. yes, make your music pleasing to listen to 9. stay away from excessive neon usage unless its that sort of neon thats not super bright 10. very much so, pushbox sections are fine as long as they are not long and irritating 11. yes, try to keep your gameplay difficulty consistent 12. i guess if it's a spike from the rest of the tower, then don't do it, but if your tower has difficulty like that, it's fine. also, this one shows another bad thing absentmindedly, one stud ladders should be avoided due to their physics 13. yeah, make your tower easy to see. lighting is fine, as long as its not crazy 14. yeah, don't use those in general 15. don't use stupid signs, its just plain annoying

Another thing not to make in your tower is that if you have a gimmick exclusive to your tower, you have to introduce it in a non punishing way. Like don't punish the player for not knowing how your tower exclusive gimmick works. Also, don't have a giant sign explaining to the player how to do things. You don't want your tower to have any sense of being a tutorial.
