Great to see your enthusiasm about our hobby. I could quite easily give up my day job to build and mess around with rc's. Did you ever see a P.B mini mustang? It was an English car which did really well on the national's but it didn't win any major events. Most of my success was with my Yokomo super dog fighter 2 and my Schumacher Cat xls. Really good memories

Never heard of that mustang buggy- sounds cool tho. I'll look it up! RC kits were all so innovative in the early days. It was so great. Thanks for your post!

@@vintagerctour5302 I'll send you a link so you can have a look . Yeah Pb was one for innovative design. He worked closely with Cecil Schumacher who was responsible for the original Schumacher Cat short wheel base . Was on to win the 1987 ifmar worlds staged at romsey England

Lol! I actually made that tiny little transmitter out of foam and glued the little car in his hand. Then I gave him some Losi stickers on his shirt!

The RC-10 was the third kit I built after the Tamiya Frog in 86 or 87 and the Stadium Blitzer In 92. I built the RC-10 in 92 in 93 but it was the Steath Transmission version because by local hobby store had a buggy class for kids 15 and younger. They had a trick class but the Losi trucks would smoke my Tamiya

Nice channel man. I miss my team associated monster gt 4.60 sooo much. Some asshole robbed my apartment here in upstate NY and stole it from me about 7 years ago. I haven't been able to buy another one yet. The truck was a gift from my mother who passed away in 2010. I have had many other electric cars but I have lost each and every one of them not being able to afford my storage locker when I was young dumb and 18. I hope to get back into the hobby soon now that I am 27 there's just so much junk now days its hard to know what's good for under $250.. Do you have any recomendations? I am very experienced I used to race at my local science & hobby tracks.
