I was saving for an arrma but seeing this now and for £380 out of the box rtr and does exactly what it says on the tin!! I’m not paying £6-700 at least for a decent ARRMA when this is half the price and just as good 👍. Most cars have a little weak spot but I checked parts out and it’s £16 for the metal swingarm pin holder!! I will get to this cars price sooner snd not be as scared to bash the life out of it as you did, it held up 💪a solid car and great review 👌. Pls get rid of that bloody song though!!!🙈

Yeah I agree. Arma Losi and Traxxas are just way over priced in my opinion. I'm definitely thinking about getting one of these as well. About the only thing ya need to upgrade is the servo and that's pretty cheap. You can get a decent metal geared servo for $30 - 40 bucks that's American bucks lol ✌️

@@EJ-74 I agree that branded card are overpriced. But you can shop for used. I got brushed erevo in excellent condition for 150$, I had laying around hobbywing wpsc8 ESC and 3674 motor and it's awesome. Parts support is big for me, I have multiple Traxxas cars build in the 90s and I can still buy majority of the parts. I haven’t driven or seen one in person and it’s probably one of the only current widely distributed 8th scale bashers I don’t have, 8th scale bashers are my favorite segment. From what I’ve seen online The specs, and credible reviews I’ve read, this is a great rig. Arrma style beefy pivot ball and suspension arms, full metal chassis, real 8th scale 3 diffs metal drivetrain. I was looking to order one a few months ago but most places with the right price wouldn’t ship a package that big to the states and the ones that would where higher priced and worth the shipping it was over $500. and worth the lack of North American parts availability I wound up passing at the time knowing Black Friday deals where coming up. Now that I’ve absorbed my Black Friday deals I’m going to consider it again, looks like a great rig and I love desert racers

I bought myself one from Christmas, thrashed the shit out of it, broke it a few times, fixed it and it just keeps going and going. Blew a tyre out this evening at the beach, swapped it and kept going. I'm running a 20kg servo which makes a bit of a difference (after I broke the previous one). I also run 6s 5000mAh 100C single batteries which make it an absolute weapon. Already broken and replaced the servo, rear suspension mount, front suspension mounts (front and rear), bent a front cvd shaft, broke rear shock lower ball joints x 2, broke front shock, bent the steering connector and damaged 2 hex adapters, and now a tyre. Always driving it to its full potential :D

Agree 100% with what you say with the DR8, not sure if you were to use the DR8 for extreeme bashing though with 30 - 40ft high abuse at skateparks . But their again would you choose to use this style of rc for extreeme bashing. You can also get a wide kit for the Reely Raptor 6s buggy from Conrad in Austria which consists of wider top & bottom arms, longer cvd front drive shafts, longer rear dog bones & longer tie & steering rods for around £80 total. This wide kit makes the truck 80 mm wider o/a making it super stable as the DR8 can have a tendancy to roll in fast turns. Check out Basherqueens awesome video of her Reely Raptor with the wide kit fitted & Talion wheels/tyres. She also lists all the parts needed from Conrad.
