I might have a few ideas on how to complete your first master. So my first idea is for you to try cloud dram just cuz its one of the more easier master impossible jumps. Also try doing faster homing cap throws and maybe vector a little bit more on your cappy bounces and homing cap throws

You have to hold the cap throw button until Mario touches cappy. It takes a little bit of getting used to but once you’ve got it down it’s easy

Watch other people's runs and tutorials for routes. After that, just play a few times and you should get better pretty quickly. Until you get about sub 1 hour 10 minutes you shouldn't struggle too much.

I think amiibo stomper is a bit messed up. Are you supposed to do the last jump on the amiibo? Because I think that in the video, the last jump is on the ground. Anyways, this is amazing! I can see why you think that. I actually am jumping off of Uncle Amiibo. There’s a mechanic to make the game easier and more fun called “coyote time” and it lets me jump off of him a couple frames after I’ve fallen off. It still counts. Also I’m glad you enjoyed the video! :D

Alright, I'm back for my (kind of) monthly checkup on this amazing video! I haven't gotten any more elites since a month ago D: My last elite was Headlight Hop 2.0 and I was very happy about it! istg i have ranged on every single friggin low elite ;-;

oh yeah also i won the trickjumping world cup!!!! (for main roles) I am very happy with it, as i went against some of the best main role tjers, Megat3nto, Emuboss_smo, (mcct god) and Pyo! (not well known as he doesn't post smo, but hes still amazing) I had the most intense tiebreaker with pyo for 1st place, where we both chose masters and we raced to see who could get both first. I was going to choose Permafrost Procedure, but apparantly that was a WRONG thing to do! everyone go mad at me so i changed it to a less free vault master, Upper Ruins Crossing (still free but i chose a vault bcuz pyo sucked at them at the time.) I went into it being EXTREMELY nervous, as he chose Glittering Gold, a master i don't have. I got it, and i won!!

You actually lose height by doing this, you only gain distance. But I threw cappy and then immediately shook the controller to return him to me, the spammed B so I could get the rainbow spin. To do this even faster, I set it up so that after I did the jump, cappy would come back and I could triple throw him to do the same motion a lot faster. I’m pretty sure if you look through the other comments you can find a tutorial video I posted (replying to someone else comment)

The setup I used is pretty consistent. Try to stand in the same spot and use first person to get the angles correctly. If you have any more questions, join the discord server! You know the first one? When you landed you can see a platform infront of you if you look up, jumping from the platform you landed on to that platform is a known jump that speed runners have also done so try that
