I suggest warming it up to almost running temp, draining the oil, adding half quart of fresh oil and a half quart of marvel idle it for about 3 minutes, drain and refill with fresh oil. Kinda expensive waste but it's really not a waste. You'd be surprised what you'll get out of the dirty oil.

You could also pull the master link off the chain and drop the whole thing into a bucket and submerge it in drain cleaner for a few hours, then rinse and drop in a bucket of oil for a few hours.

The chain is so rusted that I'm going to just replace it. It will need replaced down the road anyways, so I might as well do it now.

Hey i been looking for part 2 of the wire harnesses video for your scooter.. did u ever finish it

I did not get a chance to finish it. I ended up making a big move out west and decided not to take the scooter. Based on what I was dealing with, I was planning on just finding a stock wiring harness for the scooter and re connecting everything. The wiring was so messed up that it would take tearing all of it out anyways. If you are in a situation like myself, I would try to find an intact harness. I don't think they are super expensive and it xan save you alot of headache. That being said, my brother has the scooter now and I can give an update someday of what he figured out. Sorry for not completing the install
