नैसर्गिक आवाज से ओत प्रोत स्वर्गीय मुहम्मद रफी साहब भारत रत्न शिरोमणि कोहिनूर हैं। पद्मश्री देना तो उनका घोर अपमान है। जो गाने उन्होंने संगीत जगत को दिए हैं वह अविस्मरणीय हैं और हमेशा रहेंगे। वह सादगी, सौम्यता और सच्चाई के प्रतिरूप रहे हैं और इसी लिए उनके योगदान की अनदेखी की जाती रही है। शासकों को तो हमेशा से ही चाटुकारों की दरकार रही है और इसी वजह से रफी साहब को भारत रत्न से सम्मानित नहीं किया गया है। खैर, रफी साहब ने संगीत जगत में जो स्तर बनाया है उसे तो कोई छू भी नहीं सकता। आपने इस प्रोग्राम को बहुत अच्छी तरह निभाया है। सभी गायक/ गायिकाओं ने तथा वादकों ने अपनी अपनी भूमिकाएं अच्छी तरह से निभाई हैं। इसके लिए आप सभी को बधाई व शुभकामनाएं। " एको मोहम्मद रफी द्वितीयो नास्ति। ना भूतो ना भविष्यति।।🙏🌹🙏

Just like as they say second Lata ji will not be born, the same way there will never be a second Mohammed Rafi. He was equally as great as Lata Ji. But sadly he passed away much before any other of his contemporaries. Also the kind of recognition Rafi has got has fallen short of what he deserved. He was truly a secular person at heart and never had any problem singing Hindu Bhajans and he sang all of them flawlessly. To know his clean heart, you must listen to his solo Marathi Bhajans and 'Sukh Ke Sab Saathi'. He has sung songs in all moods of a human being which is just amazing and rarely any singer get such an opportunity. He has sung everything from Bhajans, Gazals, Qawalis, Love songs, Sad songs, and Playful songs to just everything on the Hindi film screen. When a per has such a long record of singing and who still rules people minds with his songs, truly qualifies for the highest National Award like 'The Bharat Ratna and a Special Award in Music named after him. That will be the greatest Tribute of the government to this Greatest Singing Legend.

M Rafi sahab visited my country some 60 yrs back when I was 13 n he gave shows all around the country He even ssng a song in Creole which is our native language derived from french with a mixture of few hindi words There has so far not been a singer who has been acclaimed as he was In fact he came upon the request of one of my future husbands cousin who was an importer of hindi films that came in huge reels at that time Thks fr this wonderful video n the choice of nice songs
