What will be your recommendation for a learner like me to get these words or phrases stick into our brains?
@EnglishinContext
@EnglishinContext Жыл бұрын
There is universal scientific recommendation: 1. Strong neural connections remain in the brain (memory) for a long time. 2. When you hear or see a new idiom, phrasal verb or expression, a new neural connection is formed in your brain. 3. In order to strengthen such a connection, you need to meet this idiom or phrasal verb again and again as often as possible. 4. Ideally, after learning a new phrasal verb, you would write it down somewhere, pass some test or quiz, and continue to meet with it for several days. And after that, you would periodically meet this phrasal verb in real life. 5. If you don't live in an English-speaking country, the best solution is to watch series and movies in English every day. Also don't forget to watch again those educational videos that you found helpful.
