Hello! I have one question: How often are these words going to actually be used in conversation or will the English word just be used instead? It seems like in colloquial spoken Hindi so much English is used. Is there a rule of thumb to know what words will be used the Hindi version? Which words will I actually need to learn to understand speakers and be understood? Are these words actually used very often? I am learning Hindi and have been writing down vocabulary flash cards using your word list videos. They are very helpful. I especially love that you add a sentence using the word.

Thank you 🙏 Glad you like the videos. For this series I choose the words that will be useful for everyday conversation in Hindi. There are of course English words that are very frequently used by native speakers and I have made a video about that. Facets of Hindi - 10 English Words commonly used in Everyday Hindi kzbin.info/www/bejne/mGayoJyAptGnsKc Moreover there are words in Hindi that are either difficult to pronounce or less commonly used and I have made videos about such words too. kzbin.info/www/bejne/gGemnnmFrpmNm5o kzbin.info/www/bejne/bJWWi6Jpgb2id7c kzbin.info/www/bejne/iqPCaKh5oJx4mpo

You could add video 7 and 8 to your 1000 Hindi Words play list. The play list has only the first 6 videos.

The woman says white (safed) does not change spelling with masculine and feminine nouns, but she doesn't tell us why. So, can someone please tells us why this adjective does not change but the Hindi word for black does?

Good series of videos. But as I advance in the videos, I notice that the beginning of the words/sentences are not fully audible, so the words sound is not complete. Like in Father-Pitaa, it sounds like--ta. Please try to take care of it in future videos.

Why house is masculine gender
@WatchAndLearnHindi7 ай бұрын
That is how it is. In Hindi everything is assigned a gender, even inanimate objects. There are no fixed rules. The more you learn / practice / listen Hindi the more you will become familiar with the gender assigned to different objects.
@richardbennett43652 жыл бұрын
What? The sentence is gender neutral. Then, she says there is no neutral gender in Hindi. Argh!!!! She means no neuter, not neutral.

It was what color something, but they used kaun instead of Kya! Why? I don't understand.
@maxischmidt12992 жыл бұрын
I am not 100% sure but I guess because the more accurate translation in English would be "Which colour is your favorite?" and which is kaunsa/kaunsee.
