ICE engines are dead. Electric cars absolutely thrash the arse off them. A Tesla was faster than a Bugatti. There's a load of Chinese electric cars priced betweek 50k - 120k that have over 1000 HP. 0-60 in under 2 seconds. The Chinese are now making batteries with a 15 year warranty that should run for 3 million kilometres, around 2 million miles. Batteries can be charged from 10% to 80% in 10 minutes. Imagine what the next 5-10 years will bring in battery and electric motor tech. The speed of development is so much faster than ICE engines because they've been refining ICE engines for 150 years and the gains to be made now are tiny whereas they're only just getting started on electric motors, batteries and charging tech.
