Thanks for the review! It's also sick to see a review for this bike specifically in Edmonton, because that's where I am too! I can't personally rely on car transportation, so it's relieving to hear that Edmonton isn't a horrible place to own an e-bike.

Glad it helps! I love owning my e bike in Edmonton, it’s way more bikeable than people realize!

Oh! Today I learned (thanks to your video) that you can adjust the console over on the RR+ to make room for a phone mount. Also, I'm appreciative of a review from Edmonton (I am in Saskatoon - similar hills / climate).

Heh, I don't even KNOW you and I am enthused and rooting for you to break the 1000 mark. Thank you for the experience. I went for that bike in a big way, however, it being the first one I looked at, the thinking was that I should do more reaearch. I am moving out of a small motorcycle and think that the ebike will work better for my purposes. I, for one, appreciate your take on doing the research. Beautiful, moving, visual style. Thanks for the input about the bike.

6100km on my RR+ had it since June 2022. I would say it doesn't do well with heavier people (I'm 240lbs). Front wheel needs stronger spokes and the fork is junk. Other than that I love my RR+.

Wow! That’s a lotta kms. Interesting, havent noticed a problem with the fork yet but still pretty new so we’ll see

I was in San Diego last week and went to Rad test ride center I’m 6’4” and rode the roadrunner plus. Loved it .. was big enough for me…. Didn’t feel cramped. Plenty of seat height adjustment. Liked the size. Fun rip around town or trail bike. Great for local errands.

I agree about the size, I’ve never felt too big for it - especially with the adjustable seat

Yeah im 6’4” too and had it for one month and its already falling apart, i would buy something else their customer service is shit and they dont honor their warranty, buyer beware.

@Nick Linnen it's good economics. It makes sense to me, particularly when you live in a small, densely populated country. Do you have a plan for when the electric grid goes down?

I put the large basket on the back of my radrunner plus. I used two of the pre drilled holes and drilled two new holes. I was able to install the length of the basket parallel to the bike instead of perpendicular. It looks better and allows me to get through my doorways. I live in a house in Florida in which the garage was converted to a room. I don’t dare leave my bike parked outside this close to the salt water. I ride about 10 to 12 miles five or more days a week. I’m 73 years old and I ride on level one except when that when I start out I use the throttle for about 10 yards and if I’m crossing a busy intersection to get across more quickly. Also if I get a little warm in the in the summer just a 100 yards with full throttle will cool me down. I would recommend a step thru bike for all riders especially seniors. The stepthru allows you to quickly dismount and get your feet quickly on the ground. For all seniors it also makes you less likely to fall when mounting your bike. I had a bad fall about six months before buying my bike. I was worried about balance issues. Not only was I able to ride but it actually improved my overall balance even when walking! If you don’t need the stepthru now you may or probably will need it in the future. The only disadvantage that I was concerned about when I ordered my bike during Covid in 2021 was the fact that a non stepthru might be more sturdy because a triangle shaped frame tends to be stronger. When I first saw the bike in person I knew that the frame would take anything you could put it thru. Radrover was the only company that had a two week no questions asked, as long that you had not scratched it up or hurt it so I felt comfortable buying it without a test drive. Also, if your utility bike doesn’t have an adjustable seat like this one does, then it will not be a perfect fit for everyone of varying heights!!! I’ve had my bike with no regrets. Having said that I believe I would have been almost as happy with their mini- stepthru now knowing how sturdy their frames are. It’s less expensive and can be folded to fit most cars. I have a pick up truck with a perpendicular bike rack on the back with a side ramp that makes it easy to load.

Hey Nick!! New subbie here. I just ordered this bike and I have it at the bike shop being assembled. But, now, I am wondering if I should have gotten the hyperscorpion. I really just got this thing for fun and minor grocery shopping and paved trail riding. I just love bikes!!

Exactly the info I was looking for as there hasn't been a review from anyone over 6 feet. I seen one in person for the first time last week it does look cramped. I'd say lay back seat post along with a comfier saddle shifted back.
