Many thanks, really excited about PBP. Love the Cervelo Aspero so far, fast but comfortable and versatile. I will put it to test in my upcoming race on Saturday, Transiberica, 3300 km around Spain, mostly road but theres some gravel so I think the Aspero will be great for it.

Congrats on this achievement, yet another great effort! As a new sub, I wonder why you never talk about coffee? I'd say 90% of YT cycling vloggers can't start a ride without a cup of brown brew. With some more on the way for good measure. I may correct the description : Brevet Randonneur Mondieux (BRM), it's actually "mondiaux" ("Mon Dieu" means "My God"). Because brevet is a singular form, the proper sequence is Brevet randonneur mondial (French for "global" or "worldwide"). Happy cycling!

Hi, thanks for recording this video. You very well narrated and explained your entire BRM, sleep schedule, management of time, etc. I have one query though. You had aerobars installed on your bike, how is that allowed? Audax rules do not allow use of aerobars in BRM atleast in my country (India)?

Hey Sherry Lil question, how do you combat shaving in the sensitive areas? After 200km of cycling for me it almost becomes unbearable
@Buzzalong.cycling Жыл бұрын
Thanks Anna, for me what really helped was the bike fit, most of the issues I had came from sliding back and forth on the saddle ( the reach of my bike was too long) and having a saddle that was too narrow for me and did not give me enough support. I also find having a pair of bib shorts with less padding helps to put less pressure, specially if you use aero bars or ride a lot in the drops and of course using chamois cream ^^

I know many cyclists in Race Across America use time trial bars. However, seems as though they are not used as much as cyclists believe. They add weight unneccessarily IMHO. I have tried them and took them off. I guess it is all personal preference. It is also uncomfortable to be in a time trial position for extended periods of time.
@Buzzalong.cycling Жыл бұрын
Thanks for your comment. i have a personal preference for aerobars living in the Netherlands as is flat and very windy, in this case they are super helpful. happy holidays :)
