Gave my bank cards to my best mate. phone payments for all my shopping now and quit 4 weeks ago. Glad I stopped. Man it was hard to stop. but if I can;t get any cash out the bank then I can't play! wish I had thought of doing this ages ago.

@@benjig8869 agreed. I know why I was gambling. Emotional pain…. I did stop for 10 years without the need for extra help like blockers etc but this time around it was totally different, just wanted to numb out with gambling. But I’m deffo much happier since stopping. Plus eating healthy past 4 weeks too. Sometimes cutting the addictions out results in cutting other shit out of my life.

Get a Revolut card. You can transfer money to it and use it as a normal debit card (even online and abroad etc). and leave your bank cards at home. I went to use it in a bookmakers just over a week ago. I discovered that I couldn't as it could not be used for gambling purposes. If you want to stop gambling but don't want to stop spending, the Revolut card is a great way to start.

These machines are so harsh these days. Safe your money my friend and, spend it on your love ones. Don't give to these greedy companies. The days of fun are gone on these now.
