Chris, I do like that fat bike look, Actually not bad acceleration for a heavy big frame bike. Interesting bike ! I bought an ebike in1999, 26 inch Currie that did 18 MPH FOR 1200, Head of my time the batteries were the lead cell and lasted 7 years and replace if for 50 bucks.

I can't tell, is the throttle tied to PAS? Also, acceleration from a dead stop seems nice and gentle and doesn't knock you back.

You seldom tell us the number of teeth. The web site doesn't either. I'm guessing 14-28 and 48. So the legs are really doing a burn to keep pedaling at 28 mph.
