ye, i argued with my friend who says X-2 yuna is too far off X yuna, but, man, i can totally feel her, she is so full of responsibilities and so ready to sacrifice her own personal life, and then, by the end of their war, she lost her dearest, how easy was it for her to go on? ofc its nothing close to easy 😭 I figured the X-2 is the best way for her to find a new purpose, new happiness, and all. When I was 13, I went over to a friends house during the holidays. We both got X-2 after playing through X and hyping the game for the last half of the 4th term of the school year. I went to his place, and he was in chapter 3. We played further into the game, eventually witnessing this scene. It was about 12 am. We were amazed. Consequently, after we regained character control, we went to the sphere theatre in Luca, purchased the video of this song, and watched it repetitively for at least and hour an and a half This song brings back so much nostalgia

Not going to lie,I prefer the English version to the Japanese. Because instead of Lenne outright possessing Yuna to sing ( like say Shuyin would do), she sings a duet with her. It also fits perfectly with the idea of Lenne being a singer. Lenne didn't use Yuna, they harmonized. Plus, it fits with the goal of trying to make the two side make peace with one another.

What i felt when i started seeing Lenne harmonize, as you say, was a connection where the two understood the same feeling of losing someone so important, and yet they both would sa The garmet grid yuna found, was meant for her. Lenne brought hope through the power of singing her hearts out to the people. And Yuna brought hope to the people of Spira for surviving the dangerous quest to defeating the true enemy... Maybe ;p But point is, they both utilized to show just how powerful one dream can conspire to be. That's what got me the most.

Listen people, I went to ComicCon just recent. It makes me very sad, really angry at the same time very sad. I did not feel welcome one bit paying $30 for a advanced ticket which otherwise been $40 being there. It's unpleasant to go to a convention where FF should be as big a Icon as Lord Of The Rings or even Star Wars in gaming and IT'S COMPLETELY NON EXISTANT!!! Unwelcoming. No matter how many people say that FFX-2 it's horrible, I still hold a special place for it (cause' it was my first FF game), and though the story isn't that good compared to other FF games it's still worthy, and it could be much better if they had focused more on improving the history behind characters like Shuyin/Lenne/Paine instead of shitty characters like Leblanc/Ormi/Logos. But, besides that, it has an amazing battle system, great graphics and some wonderful songs like this one, that in my opinion, matchs wonderfully with Shuyin and Lenne love atmosphere, and it's just as good as Suteki da Ne for Tidus/Yuna, and Eyes on Me for Rinoa/Squall on FFVIII.

@@DevilMayKizz I don't think FFX-2 was a good game even though i kinda enjoyed it. It was just that people had huge expectations because of FFX. I think it could be far greater than it was. Spira free of Yevon's lies, with no aeons and a way more realistic approach of life could be a nice place to built anew. But she was just wondering with a fancy starship with a girl gang. Plus, i needed someone as evil as Sin and Seymour.

Tells a lot about how much this song affects me. ;_; This might be my favourite soundtrack, since it's about Lenne and Shuyin, who are my favourite pair storyline even though they were left kind of in the backgrounds. ;_; The song is amazing... just a pure masterpiece to be honest. I like the original and this equally, they both have their own speciality, I feel like this fits Yuna better and it has the duet at the end + this is emotional and original is just pure emotion and skill

Haha same thing. Had me thinking. "Square! 😡 What The Hell is this Spice girls Looking ass Shii. After few days of torturous playthrough. I arrived at that faithful part. Safe to say I sat down 🎶👂🏾🙁...... Finished the entire game. I ain't mad anymore. Story had some problems but. I Ain't mad anymore. Wished they focused more on Shuyan and Len.
