this song introduced me to Kerouac, read it all after that. Life was never the same...

I got into Kerouac after watching a documentary on David Bowie where he said reading On the Road changed his life. Once you go down that Kerouac rabbit hole there's no turning back.

Jack Kerouac was the voice of the Beat Generation (Beatniks). Author of "On the Road". He helped usher in the counter culture.

She's definitely a unique & talented artist. I've read negative comments w/ regards to her leaving the band but apart from Natalie&band members,no one knows about that relationship. Post Natalie, the band made at least two more great albums w/ Mary Ramsey as their lead singer.

She was always distant... her brother is actually the person who told the band she was leaving

@@Thomas-n9y1t wow! Well, from my point of view, it doesn't seem like it was the best decision in the long run. I'm not a big fan of hers, maybe it she was happy w the decision.

interesting to see how wrong most everyone's getting it. Kerouac was a genius but very messed up also! he didn't like the post-beat movement (hippies) he was considered responsible for creating. he dropped out of the whole program (including the beat scene) toward the end and reverted back to being a strict Catholic while drinking himself oblivious and finally to death. he was internally divided his whole life, ... not to take away from his literary accomplishments, however..
