It was pretty clear at the end of the last season that Amy was abusing drugs. When your behavior changes like that, substance is usually the reason. I’d be willing to bet her favorite is opiates. Aggression like that is fueled by ABUSE of PKs. This is my opinion and I’m in recovery from opiates.

i am not in the least bit surprised and haven't even watched yet! She was off and on her meds on the show and she was not caring for herself at all and if you can't care for yourself you're not caring for your kids either... it's sad. Those babies were very much wanted as far as i could tell from the show, but it seemed like once Tammy started to do better Amy threw in the towel and quit caring about herself...

I live in Kentucky not near them but in Kentucky they don't play around there with taking people's kids. She's going to have a hard time proving she's a fit mother after all of this.

Schedule I drugs are the worst. They have a high potential for addiction and aren't offered by medical or pharmaceutical places.

Schedule 1 drugs are the really hard ones in the US. Think Heroin, Acid (LSD), PCP (peyote), Meth, Crack Cocaine... Kentucky has a slightly different schedule of drugs than the country but upon reading it appears as though they have made concessions for prescriptions being exempt but also being in a slightly higher schedule than other substances, like marijuana is schedule 1 but it appears as though that's only if it's not prescribed or if its in quantities for dealing. The UK schedule says more clearly (imo) that Schedule 1 drugs have a high likelihood for abuse while also having "no medical value" so they would never be prescribed, like heroin or cocaine (which actually both used to be prescription drugs years and years ago!) So, depending what they found, and I am going to have to assume here that it was Meth or something "cooked" to have given off an odour, that Amy could be in a LOT of trouble. Usually they charge you with what they know to get you off the street then they conduct the investigation, weigh everything, figure out whose vehicle it is, where the source may have been through searching homes etc and they generally add more charges on. I HOPE it was something like weed, but they showed Tammy smoking before she went to rehab and they weren't busting down her door and arresting her or any of the crew for being on site... Def keep us updated please Brittany as this may end up being a big thing esp with them sweet babies! I dont even know if they see their dad to know who may be caring for them right now or if they would have been taken into CPS custody :( I hope they are with familiiy....

Schedule I actually includes all illegal drugs like heroin, illicit forms of fentanyl, and unfortunately marijuana along with others. Schedule II drugs can be prescribed and include things like pharmaceutical versions of fentanyl, morphine, oxycodone, and many others. Many people are surprised to learn that cocaine (used in ENT surgery) and pharmaceutical methamphetamine (used occasionally for severe behavioral disorders and narcolepsy) are also Schedule II.

Of course it is wrong to consume drugs next to the kids, she has the responsibility not to do that with the kids in the car! We don't know the full story. If Amy sometimes smokes a joint in the evening when the kids are in bed and Amy takes care of everything in the morning, that's none of our business! Mind you, only if she is able to look after the kids and the household properly! But if this is not the case, intervention must be taken to protect the kids! I can imagine that the whole situation with the divorce, custody dispute, single mum ............ is overwhelming! That's not just the case with Amy, it's the same for many parents in such a situation! Amy loves her kids, she worked so hard to be a mom !
