This is Forestella, a crossover group from Korea. They are the winner group in the Phantom Singer 2; an audition show to form a crossover quartet like il Divo from Korea. However, as they have their own unique style, they won't be Korean il Divo, they will be the Forestella of the world! Forestella has sung great covers like Bohemian Rhapsody, We are the Champions, Hijo de la Luna, Heal the World, the Sound of Silence, My Favorite Things, Champions (mash-up of Champs league theme and Champions by Jo SuMi), Nella Fantasia, Scarborough Fair..etc etc. At the Phantom Singer All Stars they sang Time in a bottle, Je suis Malade as well. Shape of You in English, Spanish and African Zulu is fantastic indeed. You can even see them dancing singing Smooth Criminal as well! If you are a LOL fan, check their Warriors and Legends Never Die! And they broke the record of their own with EXO's MAMA winning 6 trophies for King of Kings in a row in Immortal Songs. Check their magnificent performances of Bad Romance and Lazenca Save us, Unwritten Legend and Despacito too. Forestella is a quartet of Ko WooRim (a classical bass, intense abyss-deep low tone), Kang HyungHo (an ex-research chemist, rock vocalist with soprano head voice falsetto), Cho MinGyu (a classical leggiero tenor, light boyish crystal clear tone) and Bae DooHoon (a musical actor, 159th King of the Masked Singers, emotion convincer good at R&B, Pop). Each has distinct tone and style of singing, different charm. But all of them are famous as practice-freaks. They meet almost everyday to practice together. In a radio program the leader (Cho MinGyu) revealed it would be around 20 days they didn't meet in the year. Bae DooHoon also said they don't meet 1~2 days in a month. I think this explains how their perfection can be possible. Don't miss their m/v for Save our lives! It's full of wonders. Each of them is representing an element in the m/v. They sang Fake Love of BTS and their song Save our lives at MAMA. Their new original song Utopia is a must check. Now I see they are creating a genre called Forestella. They showed "What crossover is" with Save our lives and showing "What Forestella does" with Utopia! Enjoy their diversity with their original song White Night too. Forestella released their new single KOOL in Kpop style to fulfill their promise of Kpop cover dance for exceeding 990K views of Save our lives m/v. They struggled to choose a Kpop to dance, became to think making their own Kpop song with dance! As crossover works for all genres, Forestella did a great job for their fans. Recently, they released Chosen One, an EPIC OST of the Sword of Aramun.

와 .. 드디어 백야를 제대로된 라이브화면으로 보네 ㅠ 역시 열린음악회 믿고본다 어쩜 네개의 파트가 하나도 안묻히고 이렇게 선명하게 다 들리는지 ㅠ (음원보다 훨 잘들림..) 음향감독님들 나이스합니다.. 정말로,,!!! 십수년 음악전문 명품 프로그램은 역시 격이 다릅니다 최고!!!!!

3:28 This is solo performance by Ko WooRim of Forestella. He is a classical bass classified as basso profondo, which is rare in Asian countries. He majored in classical vocal in SNU, the best conservatory in Korea. He was one of the semifinalists in the international concours of Toulouse in 2016. (In the concours SNU 4th grader won the Grand-Prix, SNU 3rd grader won the 2nd place, Ko WooRim was a 2nd grader at that time.) He started his career as Forestella when he was a 3rd grader. He sings good, looks good, cooks good, dances good. He usually tends to be gentle and reserved. However, with his intimate friends like the members of Forestella he shows his hilarious aspect and entertaining talent. The members encouraged him to show it in the broadcast like in the entertaining time of the waiting room of Immortal Songs. He showed the impersonation of Lee SunKyun, a famous Korean actor with deep voice, and Rainism dance quite times there. He said he dreamed to be a comedian when he was an elementary schooler, to be a dancer-singer like RAIN when he was a middleschooler, and feels like his dreams came true halfway for being active as Forestella. He's the youngest who likes to look mature, so cute to see he tries to look cool always. He is the first married man in Forestella. It was one of the biggest news of the year, his marriage to Kim Yuna, famous ice skater gold medalist AKA Queen.

I am so glad to read you mention how talented Woorim is! From far Korea when he competed for golden voices in Toulouse he was only twenty! Now he will be joining National military duties. He will be having two solo concerts end of this month. I wonder if KBS will be focusing on him? This KBS video is splendid!Nice to follow you Manaciel!

@@m0e4g2As he will be serving as a military musician in the military band, we have chances to see him singing even while his duty. Forestella will release their (micro) mini album next month before his enlisting. There would be 2 songs, one is titled Chagall's Dream and one more song yet to know the title is self-made song by Kang HyungHo.
