Sir one doubt , in some place we using water power as kinetic energy and in some place we are taking it as (row ×G×Q×H) ... Explain it sir

If water use to run a turbine by only a kinetic energy we use kinetic energy formula e.g Pelton wheel turbine as well as if water use to run a turbine by kinetic and pressure energy we use (row ×G×Q×H)e.g. Francis turbine etc.
