Sting is one of the very few people in the entire wrestling industry that hasn`t had a bad word said about him... as a wrestler or as a person...

@@carsonholton3566 All I found on this was: “Sting is not political by any means. He’s not going to push for himself to be the champion. He’s a good guy, and he’s very fair about wanting to be part of the company. He’s not asking to be the guy in the company. He just wants to contribute. Thats what I love about Sting.” -Kurt Angle What did I miss?

Perhaps the best ever. Sting rarely had a bad day in the ring. And outside the ring he seems like a real stand up guy, and I really admire him for the strength of his faith.

"Too many of us are never at peace. We maintain our marathon struggles to be bigger, better and have more. A bigger house. Better car. More stuff. This is accompanied by a prevailing fear that if we don't maintain enough control over the people around us, the bubble will burst and we'll be left with nothing. There's a well within that we're always trying to fill with stuff. We fill it with something to give us contentment and until we fill it with the love of God, we won't be able to fill it. I always tell the story of Darryl Strawberry, who was a guy who had a 22 million dollar contract, and he fell the longest distance of anybody I know to be flat on his back and to have nothing. And until he filled that well with the love of God, he was not content." - Squire Rushnell CNN interview July 2012

They say the nwo formation was the biggest change of wrestling history even though dx had already been together. No, this man coming back after going through everything he did personally standing tall as a reborn vigilante of his former self due to the highlife that industry offered. And never in history has he played a heel, he eas his own face who stood out thanx you for all the years of seeing you with a blonde flat top to black longer hair.

@BenjtheMan actually its called the scorpion deathlock. owen hart and sting were the first ones to use it. they used their right leg and stood up. bret hart copied it from them and he uses his left leg and sits down. i forgot who taught him. so sting did not steal bret hart's sharpshooter. when he was looking for a submission move ( ) taught him and made it his move. google it.

@ tmattrope, he's not a role model because he is a scripted wrestler. He's a role model because of his positive outlook on life, and powerful attitude behind the scenes. He wasn't perfect, but he overcame obstacles to keep a great life going. And if you're not christian, fine, no docking you. But you really shouldn't make such an inaccurate statement. Nobody knocks you for you religious/non-religious beliefs., ya know. I'm Christian and I wouldn't say he's a role model. Disproves ya theory :-).
