It is refreshing to see employers who value their employees enough to address their holistic needs, and in doing so actually improve their corporate bottom line. It is refreshing to see organizations like Corporate Chaplains Canada, Marketplace Chaplains, Corporate Chaplains of America, and individual companies like All Weather Windows bringing this level of employee care to the workplace. Bravo!

sweetsweatyfeet, there are Chaplains from other faith groups as well. The thing to remember here is that Chaplains are committed to being supportive of people regardless of faith background. We are respectful of all faiths or no faith. I will not push faith on you. I'm sure there are some who seek to convert from their position, but in my opinion we are to build relationships with people and meet you where you are.

What of employees who are not Christian? What about corporate Mullahs or Rabbis or atheist counsellors? Why must the councillor be a Christian (Chaplain)?

Did you actually watch the video? A Christian just happened to be the one who too the iniative, not another faith. All Christians aren't trying to force Jesus down everyone's throats. As a chaplain, we are pluralists.
