just timing ,,,Ballista is enough overpowered to finish battle in just 2 shots

Does it make a difference if it starts with more distance from the enemy?

most probably not in many of the units but in case of ballista yes if i place it much more far from enemy team then it will destroy whole enemy army in 2 to 3 shots
