For lighting a candle when the wick is too low, an uncooked spaghetti noodle works as well. Just light it and use it to light the candle. So much quicker than rolling up aluminum foil, sticking it in the lighter and holding depressor down, then striking another lighter to light the other with the foil... Now that i think about it, the skewer would probably worked just as well as the spaghetti noodle... Things that make u say, "hmmmm"... lol
