Thanks Al, yeah damn radios when they go wrong 😪. Edd was the guy that sold me the Stryker, he dosnt have a youtube channel, but is on FB, not sure if he wants me to share his details, will have to ask him👍🏻. Skip has been great last couple of days 10:30 last night and I was speaking to 72 div Guatemala , been crazy. All the best and cheers for your comments.

Thank you, I might do a quick short on the soldering, but have now had to order a fuse holder for my alinco power cable which is coming tomorrow, (Sunday), so I've not done it yet. Keep your eyes peeled for a short next few days 👍🏻

Cheers bud, he does, but its time for the alinco to shine again, its got great audio on the TX and it just sits on my shelf so happy to give it some air time. I do love a good radio. Keep your ears open for me 11meters gone crazy after the big lull in conditions recently. Best 73

They got them sent back to Ed for repair. My friend Billy 108DD128 still has his and seems to be working fine and my other friend got his back and sold it on.

Hi bud about 400w, but you don't really need it, you should do well on what the 9900 puts out as I think they are about 60 to 70w. If conditions are good even 4w will do the trick, but a bit of extra will help in a pile up. I tried for an Australian station yesterday about 4pm, but I couldn't make the trip even with the boots on as a massive pile up. Cheers 👍🏻
