Question about blackbox: if you use only loops in preset 1 and change to preset 2 with other loops, preset 2 start after preset 1 finish the loop or is immediate?

Do you mean a project? Or a song or a section. There are different levels in which you can arrange combinations of loops and samples. All but switching projects are seamless. When switching projects it takes a second or 2

How are you getting the device to actually record when you play chromatically? Mine will only record if I use pads. Keys, or my midi controller will play a sample. But, I’m unable to record chromatically. Haven’t found any instructions for this. Awful experience with this thing so far.

Hi Norman, that sucks! Are you trying to play a sample chromatically? I usually set the sample mode to: “Sample”. In the Seq section, choose a sequence pad -> info and then change mode from Pads to Keys. Then in the top left corner click the pad layout and select the pad that you want to record and then it should work. Just check the sequence length if it fits your need. Let me know if you’re still having trouble. Would be glad to help you out

Probably a great sample pack. So bad, that it´s only possible to download the whole pack for all devices. This zip file is huge.

Great video again, thanks! I downloaded the samples and played around, but I noticed something odd. I'm getting a periodic clicking sound with most of them. I tried for example the sinharm folder and it just sounds dirtier than it should sound (even the sin files clipped, while they should be the cleanest possible sounds). I also tried normalizing the wav files thinking that maybe it was clicking because of the volume maxing out, but that doesn't seem to be the case. I also double checked by playing the files in simpler in Ableton and there I have similar problems, but with a different character. Have you experienced something similar?

Hm.. did you experiment with the start and end point? If both are at “0”. The middle line. It should work

I played around a bit and tried different zero-crossings and then it indeed sounds a bit cleaner than if I make the selection from the first sample to the last sample. (Of course I will get a different sound then if I just take some in-between 0-crossings ;) ).
