This is the best performance of the many piano transcriptions that I could find on KZbin. There are a lot which distort the timing and as a result, destroy the relentlessness of Bach's music. The error in the Notes should be corrected because we only have four Bach Orchestral Suites altogether, including this number 3. I will be delighted to hear that a 5th and 6th Suite have been discovered in an attic somewhere, but until then, the Notes should read: " . . . along with the three other orchestral suites, . . ."

This played tempo is uplifting and the entire piece is far easier experienced. There is hope and beauty in this tempo. When played much slower this piece takes on a death march quality that reveals overwhelming contemplation coupled with a universe time machine past present catch up game. Strange.

If I may; the dynamic range of the performance is rather narrow, it's being played very softly which might be to some peoples liking but then playing this soft leaves little room for a wider dynamic range. Also, I know this is Bach and we're not still talking about Romanic rhythmic freedom. However, this specific piece would probably sound more dramatic and beautiful with a little more rhythmic freedom. I enjoy your performance thought, thank you.

Beatrice, This is probably the most beautiful piano performance I've heard. Funnily enough - I first heard this song in about 2018 on a horror game called The Evil Within, (pathetic, I know!) But that made me look up on Google what song it was and I found this. I also play piano and really want to learn this song as it's become my favourite now. I compare your version with Rousseau's on youtube and I can't tell which one to go for. They both sound just as good but I like yours better as it's a bit shorter, 3 minutes. For me, learning a song over 3 minutes really takes up a lot of time. I found sheets on Muescore, did you use those ones? Or did you get them elsewhere? Love your version, I really want to play it as good as you one day

@@BeatriceBerrut You responded at the perfect time! Today, I actually found sheets for it on muescore, someone copied Rousseau's video and i really like his style so I'm going for that one! But stiil, yours is just as amazing, honestly. spent 1 hour and I only made it to 0:36 into the song. it's actually a lot harder than I thought! I don't know why it takes me SO long to learn a song. i am a bit afraid that this is too hard but I will keep going, I am finding it a bit difficult though.
