GTA 2 was my first and it was so fun. I got both GTA 3 & VC for Christmas 2002 and I played them on my old AMD k62. I was blown away from GTA 3 but VC barely played until a year or so later when I got an AMD Athlon XP and I fell in love with Vice City.

The "Ghost Town" in GTA 3 wasn't meant to be a bank heist that was cut. Its the location that the beginning cutscene takes place, its just stored outside the map so no player could see it Also you talk about the moon easter being a thing from GTA III onwards and being a GTA tradition.. that is false as it only happens in the 3D GTA games, GTA III through Vice City Stories is the only games that have that easter egg, GTA IV and V do not do that anymore

London wasn't the only place outside of the U.K. to be seen. Manchester, was a multiplayer map within a London expansion. It has it's own Gouranga joke, you run over some mods and it says "Keep London tidy" and in GTA 2 you can run over Elvises and you get Elvis has left the building. You can steal taxis and get money from the passengers, they don't ask to go anywhere so when you stop they get out wherever. People also use trains and busses, you can ride the trains but not steal them this time. You can also get minor points robbed from you by some pedestrians. You can swim in GTA 1, with walk in water, not fall in water...you drown quickly but you can hop in and out again so it's more like paddling. You can also ride and steal trains. The Stallion car is in GTA 1, so is El Burro. I liked GTA Advance. GTA might not kill kids, but other games do...games where you often play as one, and Deus Ex and The Sims.

Ok calling out CDPR like this isn't fair considering they did it 3x within a year to "polish" their item. The problem was, they actually decided to pull the plug for the previous gen console way earlier even before they had started selling it as pre-orders like a year back but the management was having none of it as that means that they themselves will have lesser money to line their own pockets so they pushed CDPR to complete it asap and release it on the prev gen consoles. While on the other hand, CDPR knew that the game's processing speed is immense and only PC and new gen could keep up but when the head calls, they'll do or else heads will roll and that's what they did, build everything with duct tape for the old-gen and hope it worked. It worked. Somewhat before it went all to hell. Can't blame CDPR tbh when now they're offering full refunds right out to anyone who bought the digital copy while trying to sort out the mess for old-gen consoles.
