once a pahadi, always a pahadi. when you live in the mountains and go to the plains, you start missing the perspective offered by the mountains and eagerly wait to get back to the hills.

My first experience of the ocean was too in Kerala. Cherai Beach, Cochin. I remember I was in the sea wading waist deep and facing the crashing waves for a good 2 and a half hours in 2004 December. The feeling was so intense and captivating only people who have experienced it can tell. I am from Assam. Great video, I could relate. Thank you

Beautiful video! I can definitely understand how he must have felt when he saw the sea for the first time. I was a 17 year old when I saw the sea for the first time. Its been 12 years now but I can still remember the thoughts that were going through my mind back then. I love my India.

We have a Bengali story like this, by Manik Bandhopadyay. It's about a girl who wanted to see the ocean, but it wasn't to happen, so she used to enjoy the salty taste of the ocean by tasting her tears which fell due to the circumstances.

So deep meaning video with philosophical approach. I liked the line when he said that in mountains there is pin drop silence and stand still but when you come to ocean it is so noisy and shows the running time. Masterpiece. And i will see that cliff whenever go to Kerala- God's own country.

Simbaly Beautiful 101 India :) This reminds me of the Hotel owner in Allepey... You live in such a beautiful place with rich vegetation, So what do you fancy?, I asked. I was expecting him to say someplace in Europe but he surprised me with his answer. He said, just as you fancy seeing what you don't have, I would like to visit Jaisalmer and see the Sand dunes and learn about the Rajput culture and how things shape in a resourceless land. Himalayas was second on his list. Please continue to fulfil simple dreams of nature loving, motivated people like Chitta Dorje.

My parents and most of northeast Indians have never seen ocean...I'm a lucky one as I managed to come Kerala ...but most people have not seen the ocean..I'm from Tripura and it's just around 300 km away from the bay of Bengal but due international border we just can't see the ocean...but i was lucky enough to come to Kerala...I have not seen the ocean yet....i saw it when I was coming through the windows of the plane... And i hope I'll see the ocean next month...I'm just new to this place and busy with college life.....and the flood in Kerala prevent me from seeing the ocean.but I will vist soon.. I created this channel to show my people about the ocean...and south india...because most of my noryheast people have not seen the ocean.. And here people don't know about Northeast.. they thought I was a Chinese.. so i thought of creating this channel to tell the world about northeast and also tell my people about other Indian parts..
