These lads have mellowed fucking loads. Van is *so* much different to how he was a few years ago, he seems to have quietened down a lot. You never really hear from them these days. Probably just a case of growing up and maturing again, but it’s sad to see when I used to buzz off them as a teenager 5 years ago. Half feel sorry for the interviewer too here, as a student journo myself

Mitch they’ve toured for basically all of 2019, so that must’ve left some exhaustion on them. Some people are also saying they look or sound high but I honestly doubt it. It’s true that they’ve been very MIA as of late but that’s only because of their awful management. I too miss the older interviews where they were much more vibrant, but at the same time interviews must be getting kinda old with repetitive questions and comments

@MISSJONASFOREVER24 жыл бұрын
yes sorry im late but benji and van were old friends from school and learned guitar and bass together with the original guitarist for the band who was older than them. Bob came to live in that area and was already a drummer and they needed one so that is how he joined. The original guitarist left and wanted to start his own band (wasn't successful) so they needed a new guitarist, they were looking on social media when they saw Bondi who recently left his band. They called him up and the rest is history. Ive been following them for a while lol

Goldn Haze pretty sure they learned guitar from Billy’s older brother Bob also came in and replaced John Barr who went off to work in a bowling alley and we can’t forget Larry. Benji also didn’t even have a bass guitar when him and Van formed the band as well which is a bit funny.

I went to this show and he definitely felt off both shows they played during this time in Austin. Definitely not as hyped as he usually is.
