Miguel turns his hit “Waves” into a whole new song in an breathtaking Mexican volcano. Wrapping up his trip to his father’s homeland alongside his dad and brother, the trio sing the song together, with Miguel strumming the acoustic handmade guitar he bought from local instrument makers. This is Earthworks, where musicians go into nature for inspiration.

Miguel's story n his family was absolutely beautiful! I identify myself with them because l just came not so long ago from meeting my own family in Mexico City! It absolutely changes the way u see life n the love u get from ur people is amazing! Mexico is a beautiful country! Rich in every aspect food, people, nature, history! Beautiful. I’ve never listened to any of his songs, never been a fan, never had even heard of him because I rarely listen to the radio. Miguel came up on my KZbin feed on a CTG interview and it said something about Mexico and I saw Miguel’s face on the Clip, watched the interview and searched his Mexico videos and fell in love.
