I'm a very big fan of Nick, but I do believe he should have to qualify for next year's Olympia. He has plenty of time to recover and prep for a show. The idea of the IFBB dropping it down to only the top 3 qualifying is so we get the big names out there competing during the year. We want to see top names at the smaller shows..
@brownkorean11 ай бұрын
Why not make them all have to qualify? Make it equal for everyone.

As Samson already received a couple of 2nd or 1st place votes at the Olympia, as reflected by the score card, he probably placed ahead of Hadi at the Olympia. Thus, I believe that Samson’s progression in terms conditioning over the past few shows will enable him to beat Hadi at the Arnold

I think that's a valid point about Derek not having won an open show prior to winning the Mr. Olympia. If he didn't get the special invite, he would have either had to qualify for that first mens open Olympia or suck down for 212, which would set his physique back. That special invite set him up to win really, all other givens aside( muscle density, shape, conditioning, etc). Ramy also won after a special invite, but the onky difference is he had been trying to qualify during the big C.

Based on what does Hollingshead get 6th if everyone shows up? In 2021 Mr. Olympia he did not beat Choopan, Rodriquez or Williams. In 2021, there was no Samson, Jacked, Krizo or Mosguera. Maybe Williams will be off due to his injury. Even so, getting 6th at the Arnold means your not getting top 10 at the Olympia.
@RDYOUTUBE5411 ай бұрын
I love Samson and he's probably my favorite bodybuilder but Milos doesn't understand that what he says about other bodybuilders can apply to his guys too. He said that maybe it's not possible for Derek to get grainy and hard from the front because he hasn't done it yet. Well Samson hasn't had that next level conditioning yet so you could also make the argument that maybe Samson just can't get as dry and shredded as he needs to be to win. Personally with Derek I honestly believe he's over dieting to have the most shredded ass cheeks on stage because when you see him 7 or 8 weeks out he has striations in his chest and shoulders. His abs actually look better than they do on stage, his legs actually look more separated and definitely bigger than they do on stage, his calves look much bigger than they do on stage. He'd be better of with less striated ass cheeks and keeping those gains in his front. Milos is right, Derek won that Olympia with one pose, maybe 2, because he did not win any other poses other than those 2 . I also agree with Milos when he said no way in hell does Samson lose the Olympia if his conditioning is comparable to Nick Hadi or Derek. Who would beat him, he'd be the biggest guy on stage with the best structure with top level conditioning. No one would touch him unless Andrew added 20lbs and came in equally conditioned.

I dont care what anyone says being a young, well spoken, God fearing, family man makes him.much harder to beat. I get that it's a b.b. show not a personality contest but if everything else is even or close to even that stuff matters. I think it's something that hurt both Hadi and Ramy. While this is an international sport being accessible(in the US) and speaking english are important. At this point if Derek come in at his best I really think the only one that has a chance against him is Nick.
