I am a pharmacist and i approve. I just love this dude's composure. Here in SA we can relate a lot to his views on our socioeconomic problems. Most people want an escape from the bad cards we were dealt from birth, but most from our choices we land in dark places...prisons, rehabs and etc. Die grootmaan is relevant

True tho. Eish... This is deep. Power is distructive in the hands of a madman. We forget that great power comes with greater responsibility. Responsibility to not abuse your power rather use it to empower and enable the unfortunate around you and become a solution not a problem. We forget that one day, we ll also die leaving a legacy we build and the education we imprinted on those we left. Will they curse or praise ur name depends on your deeds while walking this world while on borrowed time. How petty and futile are materilistic mentalities. Toiling on this earth for worldy riches and yet how you got them or used them was never proper and yet ur consideration where it matters_ the afterlife is terrible. Worldy riches

here is translation: Father when people ask you they ask for power and wealth , Im asking for love and wisdom. Wealth in the hands of a man without love leads to jealousy and hatred and end up taking lives. Power in the hands of unwise man, results to misuse and abuse of power and a loss of lives. Worldy possessions will be left behind. Life does not end in the grave, remember you are still gonna be an ancestor to your family. Father I ask for a content and accepting heart to be able to face life challenges

Translation of Lyrics. Father (God) when they ask from You, they ask for power and riches, but i ask for love and wisdom. Riches in the hands of a man without love cause jealousy and hatred, lives are lost. Power in the hands of a foolish man is dangerous, he uses it (power) wrongly, and lives are lost. Give me an everlasting blessing, because earthly blessings will remain on earth. Life does end in the grave, dont forget there's an after life. Father give me a heart that accepts, so that i may be able to face the situations that come my way. In some parts, meaning is almost lost in translation isintu asitolikwa ❤😂

When I was a child, I read that when God asked young Solomon what he desired, he responded in a similar manner and because of how profound and well thought his wish was, God gave him arguably, one of the greatest kingdoms to rule. I remember saying myself, this is what I desire in my life. The ironic thing about knowledge and wisdom is, pain and hardship are almost always a prerequisite. Thus, this spiritual jam rekindles those long forgotten feelings and emotions that that young boy felt when he read about Solomon. Ay bhuti, you made so proud of my humble background and I am now reminded to pay attention to the lessons it has taught me - as broke as I may be. I just wish to be as wise as those that were before me. Bhungane!!

There is just something about Sjava's aura,,, he can present you real issues we facing as people in simply zulu but yet be so meticulous and marvelous with his presentation. Great story telling. Most of us can relate to one or two examples in our lives and create our virtual stories associated with his lyrics. No matter where u from as long as u can understand his vernacular. Been following him since he dropped ekuseni. His close association of his music with his life coming up and social analysis on daily life is utterly brilliant. Also drawing inspiration from his life when coming up is astronomical. Earth shaking footsteps that shall inprint forever on the sand like those legedary giant dinosaurs. I have absolutely no idea on your life experiences that gave you this massive wisdom and probably would barely understand. But, I salute you my sir
