It was my mother and , after she died, my step-mother who made sure I was brought up in the Messiah until I entered the military. Years later when a person witnessed to me, it was the memory of those years that the Lord used to bring me to Him.

Glory to God for all the God fearing women He has used for His glory. From the mother of Moses to Rahab to Ruth, Esther, the woman at the well to the woman with the issue of blood to Mary, the mother of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, God can use whoever He wants to use to accomplish His good and perfect plan. So the woman with the alabaster jar was Martha, Lazarus's sister. I did not know that at all.

The women were supporters in each role they held. As disciples, or learners, they learned about who Jesus Christ was and believed in him, but the women were not leaders of congregation. Even if their homes were being used as a house church, it was not the women who led the house church.
