In the summer of 72 I spent my time in Cashiers. I worked at the historic Inn of High Hampton. I remember the drive from Cashiers to Highlands was a 1/2 hr drive because of the narrow curvy roads. One of the best summers of my life! This house is amazing, beautiful and exquisite.

Calling this beautiful home a cottage is reminiscent of the Vanderbilts and Rockefellers calling their mansions in Newport, R.I. cottages 120 years ago. The only minus in my mind is the one-car garage. A two-car garage at a minimum and three would be better for a house in this price range.
