You are so lucky living in the country where you have all those wonderfull animals all around you! I love it when you feed the birds in your courteous backyard! I live in Finland and we only have bears, moose, deer etc and you rarely even see them. And it's so dark and cold in the winter! And this painting is absolutely my favourite. I have learned so much from you! Thank you!

Your tree is lovely and does look like a Ghost Gum, I think the colors on it are great. Gorgeous video of you with your feathered visitors prior to the painting. They are something you can sit watching and lose track of all time.

Commenting as a 67 yr very retired American Girl Scout....I had never seen a kookaburra!! .we sang a song about a kookaburra sitting in an old Gum Tree! I think a little dark background is ok because you want to emphasize the tree. Anyway, you have the contrast of light or white tree & a bit of a darker background. I love the grey blue silvery look on the background. Awesome job for your first time! I must try this. Thank you!

The tree came out wonderful. I love when you show the dogs and the birds. I had a miniature brown poodle growing up. I'm sure to you the birds seem normal, but for me in the US they seem very exotic.
