I always defeat him with a shore layout : a line of mines at the beginning of the base then a line of 3x3 production/storage buildings then a line of canons & Flamethrowers one by one also, I always make sure that my shock-launchers with my rocket-launchers behind them are covering the landing area so the Hammerman troops are totally wrecked/damaged before they start shooting my buildings. 🐟🐟 DodyShawky🐟🐟 LIKE A FISH

Not sure it would make any big difference, but since hammerman don't use GBE you could possibly also put a few non defensive buildings up front just to stall him a little bit.
