There is absolutely no evidence that Kellen Moore could handle being a HC. In fact the opposite is true. He turned down the offer to be Boise State HC in order to be a OC in Dallas. He has been on several interviews as HC and no one wanted him. Then he failed at OC with Chargers and Siriani reduced Kellen down to a pass game coordinator who calls Siriani game plan this year. But the worst thing is if Dallas really wants a modern offense, Kellen is not the answer. He only knows one Coryell style offense. Siriani and Stoutland removed Kellens Coryell style and made the running game prominent in Philly. When Hurts needs to pass it’s labored or largely incongruent. Why? Kellen doesn’t mold the scheme to the player. He wants the QB to follow his 1996 scheme

McCarthy HAD to go... But Kellen Moore is a baby and a quiet guy. He's not a RAY LEWIS/DEION SANDERS man leader. Since Jerry isn't going anywhere we need to make the CORRECT coaching choice. Letting Dan Quin go was the worst thing the Cowboys did last year... He immediately took a 3rd place losing record team to the playoffs in his first year. The same change Dallas defense saw in DQ first year.

Regarding those who criticize the possibility of Jason Witten because he has no head coaching experience, besides the obvious that he has16 years of NFL playing experience in which he did absorb something and the fact that he is known to have an excellent football mind, there's the idea that when Jimmy Johnson was hired the "know-it-alls" said that Jimmy would fail because he had no NFL coaching experience and coaching college was "well, you might as well be coaching high school". The leap from college to the NFL was seen as smaller than the leap from high school to college. Jimmy was hired and the rest is history. I think Witten can do it. I also think Moore can do it. Moore might be perfect because he is bland. Being bland could work in Dallas because I don't think this team needs more flash. Deion Sanders brings flash. He brings a circus. Dallas already is a circus. I wouldn't cry if Prime became the HC, but he isn't my ideal choice. My dark horse guy is Jon Gruden. I really like him. I think the "controversy" stuff is BS!
