The hard part is learning how to do it. The cleaning, feeding, and trimming only take a few minutes, but I spent hours figuring out how much Co2, plant fertilizers, and food to add. It takes days to know you've done something wrong, and weeks to recover from mistakes. That said, in the end I still think it's worth it to see that particular shade of emerald green. There's nothing quite like it.

Thank you for your kind words. Unfortunately, I am very busy at present, and this hobby is at the bottom of the list. Tragically, this tank was smashed during a move when one of the cart wheels broke, and I haven't had the heart to start a new one yet. For now I'm living vicariously through others! Keep up the great work, I'll get a 20 gallon tank like yours one day! Cheers

Plants: Grass-Echolaris acicularis Stemmed Plant-Rotala Indica The soil is ADA Aquasoil Amazonia. I would get the powder type if I could do it over again. The grass has a hard time growing in the larger granules. Cheers
