Hi Carl, next time I will rebuild a 106 Rallye GTI in yellow with the 6J14 Rallye rims (car was sold in greece). May I ask you for support (part numbers / dealers)? -> the aftermarket for spare parts is better in GB ...)? I know the 106 well, I have got a 2nd (60 HP, Standard but in excellent condition). My car is not so rusted so that I don t think I have to face that huge amount of work you had to do. What you did is really excellent ! Great job!

Hm, is there any possibilty to write apart from the public chat here? I have collected all the parts from the body (even the 6J14 Rallye rims) and the interior but I have not taken a closer look on the undercarriage. it might be necesaary to buy some parts of the undercarriage, sealings (engine and manual sun roof). Good thing is for me: that my car was sold as a GTI Rallye in 2003 in Greece so that there is only little rust (-> batterie acid).@@carllampard106

Amazing job, looks better than new and this colour Jaune Genet is very rare. Nice car. The brand new front wheel arches you have soldered are made by yourself ? Or did you bought it ? By chance could you tell me where ? I have to replace mine.

@@lambrostsalis me and my friend are converting our 106 to gti's. When it's done I'm not gonna claim it's a GTI tho, I just want the power and looks of it. So fast my friends has the engine fitted and mines got the body and bumpers, I just need to find and engine and gear box 🥳
