Hutatma Chowk ("Martyrs' Square, officially, Hutatma Smarak Chowk, "Martyrs Memorial Square") is a square in South Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. The square hosts Flora Fountain and was known by that name until 1961 when it was officially renamed in memory of the members of Samyukta Maharashtra Samiti, who died when police fired upon their peaceful demonstration in 1956. A statue of a "Martyr with a Flame" stands next to Flora Fountain.
Flora Fountain is a Fountain located at the Hutatma Chowk is an ornamentally sculpted architectural heritage monument located at the southern end of the historic Dadabhai Naoroji Road, at the Fort business district in the heart of South Mumbai, Mumbai, India. Flora Fountain, built in 1864, depicts the Roman goddess Flora. It was built at a total cost of Rs. 47,000, or 9,000 pounds sterling, a large sum in those days. It was sculpted in imported Portland stone. The fountain was originally to be named after Sir Bartle Frère, the Governor of Bombay at the time, whose progressive policy had resulted in many of the great public buildings of Mumbai. However, the name was changed before the fountain was unveiled as Flora Fountain, named after Flora, a Roman Goddess of flowers and the season of spring; her majestic and pretty Portland stone statue adorns the top of the fountain.

ഇ മേഖലയിലേക്ക് ഇടക്ക് time കിട്ടുമ്പോൾ ട്രിപ്പ് പോകാറുണ്ട്.. ഫ്ലോറ ഫൗണ്ടൻ ഇപ്പോൾ പണി നടക്കുക ആണ്.. വീഡിയോയിൽ കാണുന്നു.. ഞാൻ ആ ഭാഗത്തേക്ക് പോകുമ്പോൾ ഇ സ്ഥലത്തു വന്നു pic എടുക്കാറുണ്ട്.. അപ്പോൾ ok വെള്ള ചാട്ടം ok ഉണ്ടാവാറുണ്ട് ഇ ഫൗണ്ടൻ അതിൽ നിന്ന്.. ഇതൊക്കെ ബ്രിട്ടീഷ് time ഇൽ ഉള്ള നിർമിതികൾ ആണ്.. പിന്നെ പാർസി മതക്കാർ പണ്ട് ഇ മേഖലയിൽ കൂടുതൽ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.. അവർ ആണെന്ന് തോന്നുന്നു ആ മേഖലയിൽ ഉള്ള മിക്ക ബിൽഡിങ് നിർമിച്ചത് ആ കാലത്ത്...അവരുടെ റിലീജിയൻ അതിൽ ഉള്ള സിംഹം പോലെ ഉള്ള അനിമൽ നെ എല്ലാം അവിടെ ഉള്ള ബിൽഡിംഗ്‌ ന്റെ തൂണിൽ കാണാം... ഇപ്പോഴും പാഴ്സി മത വിഭാഗത്തിൽ പെട്ട ഫാമിലി എല്ലാം ഇ മേഖലയിൽ ഉണ്ട്.... ഇ ഫൗണ്ടൻ അതിന്റെ അവിടെ നിന്നാൽ അതിന്റ ഒപോസിറ്റ് ഒരു വഴി പോകുന്നുണ്ട്.. ആ വഴി നേരെ ചെന്ന് tuch ചെയുന്നത് മറൈൻ ഡ്രൈവ് മേഖലയിൽ ആണ്.. ചർച്ച് gate ലൊക്കേഷൻ.. ആ സ്ഥലവും ഒരു ടുറിസ്റ് ലൊക്കേഷൻ ആണ്.
