Is there too much hype around Jayden Daniels? From the media at large? Not even close. They're obsessed with Caleb. From this shkw? 😂 You're lucky to get any optimism about the upcoming season from you guys. I have high expectations, but I'm still realistic as well.

Pretty much except to be 6-11 or 7-10. Improving, getting better and drafting some more oline pieces next year to really get going.

Yup. They'll judge the state of the union after this season, maaaybe buy a blue chip FA. Have another draft, judge the state of the union again after that season and really isolate where to invest FA dollars to round out the team. Course there's always the possibility that they catch lightning in a bottle and all the planets are in alignment and the whole thing is accelerated. But I agree the likely scenario is 6-11 to 8-9 and they go from there.

Terry will never talk bad about whoever is throwing to him. 🤷🏿‍♂️ thats just who he is. I think he knew Sam had the tools but the offense its self just didnt work out. But JD is the Best talent hes had at the position. They finally got my guy a Dog at QB. SCARRY TERRY gone go crazy this season. 💯

Imo, I think he was out on Sam early. I went to a game last season. Sam didn't seem to interact with any of his receivers during breaks in between actions.

Yes Terry backed Sam Howell mid season because Sam was playing very well. Even on some of those losses, it wasn’t due to bad QB play. But now ask yourself, how many players were pissed about Bieniemy. I can bet you players were more pissed at the coaches than Sam Howell. It’s like EB was trying to kill him.

Pump the brakes is not the right term. But it'sa fair to be cautiously opotomistic. He has somethings he will need to show against live action like can he hit the small windosws at the intemediate level, how is his decision making in terms of playing within the game and running when it's smart but not being a rabbit, and most importantly can he and the Oline keep him upright and healthy. I think he is most physical and athletic than many of the so called scouts said he was. But he is still a bit more slight than traditional QB size. I really like him and the sky is the limit. But until he does it in live games it's just potntial. More iportantly. he needs time to grow and learn. Placing huge unfiar expectatinos is not fair.

He hasn’t faced an NFL defense much less an NFL defensive coordinator. In college if his first read wasn’t open he ran. Can’t do that in the big leagues. He has talent but we have to look at who is developing him

Yes indeed there is WAY TOO MUCH Hype. Daniels hasn't played a single down yet in a real NFL game... You have to give him a bunch of games to see how he does under pressure and how he manages the game and the offense when it is critical. It's way damm too early to go gaga over Daniels... Let's revisit this discussion next year.
